Our Shareholder Development primary goal is to maximize shareholder potential by educating, developing, and engaging
shareholders as they pursue meaningful career and life goals. We also work dilligently with Ahtna subsidiaries and management to provide opportunities for
shareholders, increase shareholder hire, and develop programs to advance shareholders in their careers.
Brianne Island, our Shareholder Development Specialist,
will work closely and effectively with shareholders in assisting and counseling them to become better prepared and qualified for such opportunities.

On-Call Temporary Work Program
Our On-Call program allows shareholders who may not be able to maintain a full-time position to still have an opportunity to work. On-Call allows for a flexible schedule while still gaining experience in the workplace. We also provide support services to shareholders, their spouses and dependents, including:
Career counseling and development
Identifying and/or providing funding for higher Education
Identifying and/or providing funding for Training
Helping shareholders fund gainful Employment
We can provide recruitment and employment counseling, help create resumes, determine career plans, aid in completing
applications, etc. In each Ahtna office there is a shareholder resource area which will not only have a variety of materials outlining schools,
scholarships, and services available for shareholders, but also a shareholder computer that can be used to type resumes, find and apply for jobs,
and research scholarships or training opportunities.
